Job Description
The Accounts Manager is responsible for verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling accounts payable and receivable to maintain accurate financial records. They produce and analyze financial reports, manage accounting assistants, and prepare financial statements and budgets as per schedule. Key duties include overseeing tax audits, ensuring compliance with TDS and tax regulations, managing internal and external audits, and optimizing accounting processes. The role also involves managing raw material and stock entries, strengthening internal controls, and refining accounting policies for improved efficiency.
Job Responsibility
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
- Analyse financial information and summarize financial status
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns
- Updated knowledge of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) provisions and other relevant tax regulations.
- Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Properly managing of Raw Material, Manufacturing & Processing Entry and Stock in accounts.
