Production Engineer

Job Description

The Production Engineer oversees all production activities, setting daily, weekly, and monthly targets to ensure efficient, high-quality output. With expertise in batch manufacturing, they prepare and maintain batch records for audits, manage manpower costs, and improve process efficiency. This role includes machine operation, staff training, and preventive maintenance, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance. The Production Engineer also designs and refines processes to reduce waste and enhance product standards.

Job Responsibility

• Responsible for getting the desired efficiency from all workers.
• Responsible for overall production activities and setting daily, weekly, and monthly plans and communicating same with workers.
• Must have experience in handling Batch manufacturing processes and be proficient in preparing and maintaining all batch records required for Audits.
• Prepare Manpower projections and costings as per plans, ensure cost well within the limits through efficiency improvement.
• Must operate and set machines independently to train operators and other newly recruited staff.
• Responsible for overseeing the production processes in a manufacturing facility to ensure that products are produced efficiently and effectively
• The Production Engineer ensures that production targets are met while maintaining quality standards, safety, and environmental compliance
• Designing and implementing production processes and procedures to improve product quality and minimize waste.
• Ensure proper safekeeping of all the equipment and machinery through preventive maintenance and repair.
• Review and Develop the Quality control process or procedures.
• Ensure the process complies with standards.
